Made with Whole Grains
Whole grains contain filling fiber, plant-based protein, and other vitamins and minerals your body needs to stay healthy, reduce the risk of several chronic diseases, and help you feel better and have more energy. Made with Whole Grain selections comprise over 15% of menu items on our residential dining menus through the semester.
Vegetarian and Vegan selections now make up over 30% of our menus. UTSA Dining follows a Lacto/Ovo vegetarian definition. Food is prepared without meat, fish or poultry. Eggs, dairy products and honey may be used in recipes and offered on menus.
Our vegan selections contain no animal products of any kind. In addition vegan items can not include dairy, eggs, or honey. Ask an employee about additional vegan desserts, vegan mayo, plant based milk, etc.
